Today is Christmas—a time for celebrating with family and friends. However, for some, this day is spent in solitude, without loved ones. Some may be confined to their beds, unable to participate in the festivities.
Amid all this, there are selfless individuals who choose to work today—care staff and carers who dedicate their time to bringing comfort and joy to others. I have personally witnessed these incredible teams go above and beyond, even preparing Christmas lunches to ensure the people they look after, feel cared for and included.
