Adult Social Care Digital Transformation Fund

We are thrilled to announce that Careberry has successfully passed the rigorous NHS Didital assessment and is now part of the NHS Assured List. The Digitising Social Care Team in the NHS Transformation Directorate is offering a total of £25 million to Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) such as Careberry to support CQC registered adult social care providers to adopt technologies that can transform care. This fund aims to improve the quality of care provided to vulnerable adults by enabling care providers to use technology effectively.

What are the benefits of the Adult Social Care Digital Transformation Fund?

The fund will support adult social care providers to:

• Adopt digital social care records (DSCR), which are also known as digital care plans. These plans ensure that care teams have accurate and up-to-date information at their fingertips, enabling them to provide outstanding care.
• Roll-out sensor-based falls prevention and detection technologies. These technologies are designed to support those who are at risk of falls, reducing the frequency and severity of falls-related injuries and preventing hospital admissions.
• Test other care technologies based on local needs, which will help further develop our understanding of what works.
